Chrysalis In A Pumpkin Throw Pillow

I drew this pumpkin with a chrysalis inside adorned with some flowers from a real pumpkin my youngest son brought home from a school field trip very recently. He and I did an arts and crafts project together involving this real pumpkin. I carved it in half actually, preserved the halves and he used embroidery thread to make a colorful chrysalis. I put the chrysalis inside small plastic packaging originally used to hold the thread. I used the remaining thread of other various colors to put the two halves back together by cutting slits into the halves and running the thread through with the chrysalis almost hidden but peeking out a bit inside with some colorful flowers surrounding it. The excess thread from the chrysalis was used to hang it inside by threading it through the slits. I put it in the window. This drawing is another variation of that fun family project.
