Cobbler - Tools of the cobbler Business Card
A cobbler uses an assortment of hammers, shoe shaped anvils), pliers, and many other tools. They use leather hide, that is then cut to fit to a last. A last is a shoe shaped mold made of wood. They place leather on the last to shape it and using hammers and nails, they will nail it to the last where the leather can set and shape itself.
After they can remove it and attach it to a sole, color it etc. It takes a special hand to make a pair of matching shoes.
