"That Day in Her Life" is a fun, funky, colorful celebration of color, texture and pattern. This is a digital piece of abstract art. Using a palette of vivid pink, green, turquoise, yellow, green, purple and blue, I added a retro pattern to cover the full surface, then interspersed rings of dots that make up happy circles. After erasing parts of the circles with grungy, scratchy brushes, I then blended the layers to get the messy, highly-textured results that pleased me. This design is for color lovers, for those who enjoy retro patterns, who enjoy circles, dots, funky waves and curves, and for those who enjoy messy-mixed-with-pretty.

I love to surprise my wife with notes. I make these so I can keep them in my wallet and place them anywhere when I feel she needs a little surprise. I usually hide them somewhere for her to find in her pocket or in her car to brighten her morning before work. This is my 8th or so iteration after a few years of making them and these are my favorite. The printing turned out perfect and spot on. Sometimes the cutting can be ever so slightly off but this time it was perfect. Just make sure to follow the guide and use references that have some grace space on the edges. That is key.
