About This Design

Eugene Boudin - Bathing Time at Trouville Ceramic Tile

Bathing Time at Trouville (L'heure du bain à Trouville), painted by Eugène Boudin in 1864, captures fashionable visitors gathering for sea bathing at the Normandy resort of Trouville. Crinolines, parasols and bathers animate the sandy beach beneath a broad changing sky, reflecting Boudin's fascination with modern seaside leisure, summer light and coastal atmosphere.

Ceramic Tile, 4.25" x 4.25"
From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
