About This Design

Feeding Time Mug

Fun and whimsical illustration by Theodor Kittelsen from his series of water colors entitled “Har Dyrene Sjæl?” (Do Animals have Souls?), published in 1893. This illustration is titled “He is alive, kids!“, which features a mother bird holding a pot of worms as she feeds a live green caterpillar to her goofy looking featherless chicks in their nest.

This is a gorgeous mug that makes me feel as though I am outdoors in my Hosta garden, on a beautiful day in Spring! The printing is lovely and sharp just like my painting. I shall be displaying this mug at an exhibition soon!
