Field Sobriety Test Apron

This original black and white cartoon is set in Fort Bragg, Ca. This small town has one of the highest concentrations of fine woodworkers in the country and it seems that every one there must have woodworking (not to mention wine tasting) on their minds! A police officer gives what seems to be a perfectly reasonable field sobriety test to a man by holding up a Japanese dovetail saw, a marking gauge and a small piece of properly air dried hardwood, and demands, "Now I'd like you to make a double half-blind dovetail."
