The tale plays with logic in ways that have given the story lasting popularity with adults as well as children. It is considered to be one of the most characteristic examples of the "literary nonsense" genre, and its narrative course and structure have been enormously influential, especially in the fantasy genre. This was such a hit! My brother was really excited to get it. The only thing he said was it was short -but he's 6'3" so it's hard for him to find ties that are long enough for him. Luckily, my other brother (who is the same height) managed to tie his tie so it fit, so he gave it to him. They both remarked on how much they like the ties and the material. Beautiful!
