Handmade Live Edge Cutting Boards

Both beautiful and durable, wood is perhaps nature's most incredible creation. Wood can inspire us with it's strength and elegance... These wood-slab cutting boards are no exception. Each is handmade from locally fallen hardwoods, and my offerings will vary based on availability at my sawmill. I make every attempt to showcase a natural or "live" edge from its source tree. Live edges show the exterior of the tree, with its bark removed. Each board is unique and will vary in shape, size and character. The boards are typically about 1" thick and range in width and length. Typical sizes are about 9-12" wide and 12-20" long. There is no "standard" size for my boards; I let the traits of each slab determine the shape and length of each board I make. All boards are finished with commercially available butcher block oil for easy maintenance. Care instructions are included.
