Frames

Frames hold a photo in a shape. They're easier to use than masks.

  • Simple frames – circles, rectangles, ovals.
  • Decorated frames – frames with a border or artistic overlay.
  • Multi-frames – 2 or more frames together, for collages.

Use a frame

  1. In Elements, find Frames and click See more.
  2. Click a frame to add it. Empty frames show a placeholder picture.
  3. Select the frame and click Add image, or drag a photo onto the frame.
  4. To reposition or zoom the photo, double-click the frame or click Crop. For a multi-frame, select the single frame first.

For designers: make a frame a template

  1. Select the frame (for a multi-frame, select the single frame) and click Selling Options.
  2. Turn on Make this a template object.
  3. Turn on Force customers to replace with their own content so customers don't order your sample photo.
  4. Add your own photo to every frame before you publish. Products with empty frames can't be published.

QR Code

Add a QR code that opens a website when scanned.

  1. In Elements, scroll to QR Code and click Add QR Code.
  2. Type the web address and click Submit.

Add QR Code

You can change the QR code's background color, size, and rotation. Designers can make it a template so customers enter their own link. See How to add a QR code.

Tips

Frames FAQ

  • Can frames be templates? Yes. Use Selling Options as described above.
  • Can I make my own frames? Not at this time.
  • Are frames the same as masks? Frames are the easier, newer option. Masks still work, and designs that use them are unchanged.
