About This Design

Itsee'tsoli ~ Red Hawk Mug

The Mescalero Apache consider Itsee'tsoli - Red Tailed Hawk - to be a sign of Good Luck. Indeed, Hawk represents awareness. Hawk is teller of truths and sees beyond the masks. Hawk is Messenger, able to move between the seen and unseen world. Prophetic Insight. Clear Vision. Unified with the Great Spirit. The messenger, it awakens our vision and inspires us to a creative life purpose. The Hawk I have painted is in the Great Circle of Life and a circle of feathers. On the outside of the circle are the Morning Star Hawk greets, Clouds he soars above, and feathers we hold sacred. A food source, the Snakes, crawl upon the ground. Artwork by Zeke Sena, New Mexico, USA. I was born of the sign of the Hawk. --- Available as a greeting card, also!

This is a gorgeous mug that makes me feel as though I am outdoors in my Hosta garden, on a beautiful day in Spring! The printing is lovely and sharp just like my painting. I shall be displaying this mug at an exhibition soon!

I love these cups!! I'm glad I ordered them and would definitely order from here again. I got 50 cups and they came within a reasonable time frame.

I designed the mug for my sister because the Gauguin painting holds a special meaning for her. It arrived on time and the overall quality of the mug exceeded my expectations. Vibrant colors, true to the original. I just received, so I can't say how the colors will hold up over time.
