John Trumbull: The Surrender of Lord Cornwallis Business Card

This Romanticism, history masterpiece titled, The Surrender of Lord Cornwallis was made by John Trumbull using the oil on canvas technique in 1820. In 1784 he was again in London working under West, in whose studio he painted his Battle of Bunker Hill and Death of General Montgomery at Quebec. Both works are now in the Yale University Art Gallery.
