Join or Die Case-Mate iPhone Case
Join, or Die is Benjamin Franklin's political cartoon published in his Pennsylvania Gazette on May 9, 1754. It's the earliest known pictorial representation of colonial union produced by a British colonist in America.
The original was actually a woodcut showing a snake severed into eighths, with each segment labeled with the initial of a British American colony or region. The cartoon appeared along with Franklin's editorial about the "disunited state" of the colonies, and helped make his point about the importance of colonial unity.
During that era, there was a superstition that a snake which had been cut into pieces would come back to life if the pieces were put together before sunset.

Case-Mate Phone Case, Apple iPhone SE (1st gen) + iPhone 5/5S, Tough
Creator Review
The case fits the iPhone 5 well. It adds very little bulk. I'm glad I chose the Vibe case instead of the Barely There, because the rubber insert for the Vibe case adds a layer of protection without making the phone significantly larger or bulkier.
That said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another case. In fact, my chief complaint is that as soon as I received this case, I wanted more, with different images.
In case anyone at Zazzle and/or Casemate is listening, I think lowering the price on these cases would be a good idea. At current pricing, it's hard to justify collecting a wardrobe of cases. If they were cheaper, I'd find it easier to give into the temptation to buy another -- and probably another after that. The image on the case is sharp, and the finish is glossy. The midtones in the image came out somewhat dark. The light tones are quite light, so I would not say that the printing itself was dark. It may be that the process tries to enhance contrast, so the lights and darks are strong while the midtones get lost.

As other Zazzle cases, great protection from falls to the carpet or to the cement. I have not had a case break or chip yet. Phone always intact. Great work. Only observation is that the tough cases are just a millimeter too big and I have had to force the iPhone and plastic protection band into place with the shell of the case bulging slightly. I hope that it does not break the case or cause it to bulge without the phone in it. Amazing the way the artwork always turns out on the Zazzle cases in that the artwork is clear and concise since the real painting was larger. Excellent. People are always asking where to find different cases so I tell them, "Zazzle." Variety the spice of life.
