Join, or Die is a famous political cartoon created by Benjamin Franklin and first published in his Pennsylvania Gazette on May 9, 1754. The cartoon appeared along with Franklin's editorial about the "disunited state" of the colonies, and helped make his point about the importance of colonial unity. During that era, there was a superstition that a snake which had been cut into pieces would come back to life if the pieces were put together before sunset. (Wikipedia)

This was such a hit! My brother was really excited to get it. The only thing he said was it was short -but he's 6'3" so it's hard for him to find ties that are long enough for him. Luckily, my other brother (who is the same height) managed to tie his tie so it fit, so he gave it to him. They both remarked on how much they like the ties and the material. Beautiful!
