This lamp turned out exactly as I expected. I wanted a simple lamp that goes with my living room furnishings, and I didn't like what I was seeing in the box stores. It has a clean look with the simple base. I blended the neutrals -- brown tones (shade), grey (base), and black (trim) -- to work with the colors in the room; the lamp shade design fits with the decor. I was very happy to choose my own lamp shade design. I knew from reviews to be very careful about how well the seam matches. Fortunately, Zazzle allows us to view every angle of the shade designs. I have purchased other similar lamps. I use them as extra light for guest's. They are inexpensive, easy to assemble and good height for reading. I like that there are many pre-made shades to choose from and that, like this one, you can use your own art. The only "con" is that the shade does heat, even with specified bulb. I would not leave it on all night. Printing is great. My granddaughter will be happy to see her artwork on her bedside table. The art does not cover the entire shade, but the background that shows can be matched easily.
