Molten Metal Egg Business Card

This image is one in an original series of mural-sized (15,000x 15,000 pixels) procedurally created eggs with fractal textures and colouring made in fascinating fractal software XenoDream by Scotland-based Norwegian artist Hakon Soreide. I chose eggs for this series of textures as I think it's a simple yet dynamic shape that shows off patterns and figuring particularly well. I also made a standard shape and size so that the pictures look great together. When I made this one, I experimented with using different lighting effects, and when I changed the background colour to one similar to the one on the egg, it suddenly looked as if it was made of frosted glass, which I found rather a pleasing effect, and so this is one of my few new eggs to feature anything but a black background. Great for anyone loving eggs, dragons, chickens, for Easter, or for any time of year when the textured shape of an egg still makes a fascinating piece of art. Eggs are also an enduring metaphor of fruitfulness, prosperity and fertility, making them suitable as a symbol for a wedding present. As this is rendered in ultra-high resolution, you can zoom in on any part of the egg's texture and use that for your own unique custom product.
