Mutant Osteospermum / Dimorphotheca Postcard

A double carpel(pistil)..apparently this one was meant to be two flowers but looks like we have conjoined twins...or rather one body with two heads. Dimorphotheca, commonly called Cape marigold,[1] is one of eight genera of the Calenduleae, with a center of diversity in Southern Africa. Some species can hybridize with Osteospermum, and crosses are sold as cultivated ornamentals. The name "Dimorphotheca" comes from the Greek "Dis" "Morphe" and "Theka".
