Olive Grove Postcard

Olive Grove is an oil painting of Italian scenery in spring. I love Italy and I love hiking. During my holidays I visited Tuscany many times and enjoyed the beautiful countryside with its astonishing olive groves. Olive groves offer hikers the opportunity to explore the world of extra virgin olive oil, through production territories and farmers. The Path winds along the countryside and crosses hillsides of ancient olive trees. The path is overgrown in places with scrubby bushes and leads you to beautiful and secluded vantage points. Here you can take a break before going back. With this painting I like to share the spring in toscany and hope you can imaging walking between those old olive trees. Feel the wind and the sun on your face and relaxe. With its manicured fields, rustic farms, cypress-lined driveways, olive groves and towns clinging to nearly every hill, Tuscany is clearly a romantic area in Italy. Stretching from the Umbrian border to the Ligurian Sea, it covers one of the most famous and beautiful countryside in the centre of Italy. This region is also considered as one of the most important cultural landscapes of the Renaissance. Countless places and attractions are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
