WWII Ace Gregory "Pappy" Boyington. Boyington is best known for his exploits flying the Vought F4U Corsair in VMF-214. During periods of intense activity in the Russell Islands-New Georgia and Bougainville-New Britain-New Ireland areas, Boyington added to his total almost daily. The shirt is well-made; the material is soft and not too thin. The sleeves are just right. I ordered a size larger just in case and it fits as expected for a shirt that is one-size too big. Considering it will probably shrink the more it's washed, I don't mind it. The print of my job's logo looks great. I haven't noticed any bleeding or imperfections.
