National flag of the Philippines The Philippines flag has two horizontal bands in blue and red, with a white triangle at the left. The triangle has a golden sun surrounded by three stars. It was adopted in 1898, and has a 1:2 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artefacts, and won't be printed.
