Settle a new land. Live quietly, work hard. No billboards, no newscasts, no surveys, no clanging, banging, or honking. Just weather to contend with. And wildlife. And maybe loneliness. Uncertainty and hardship, no doubt. But also serenity. Other people fantasize about sports cars and electronic gadgets and oodles of money. I fantasize about quiet and simplicity and nature.
