This is a portrait of Princess Alexandra (b.1844 – d.1925) that was commissioned by her mother-in-law Queen Victoria in 1863. Originally Queen Victoria wanted her favorite artist Franz Xaver Winterhalte (1805 - 1873) to do the portrait, but he was of ill health and she instead gave the commission to Richard Lauchert (1823 - 1869) This image is a retouch and enhanced version of the original painting with warmer tones and increased brightness and contrast done by Xzendor7

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
