I love these areas of the Mandelbrot Set when I find them. On one side of the picture you have a spiral. On the other, there is a whirlpool type hole. So I call these fractals Spiroles. A made up word. But it describes it nicely.
It was a black and white image that inspired the word "Spirole". This image, shown below, is made up only of black and white dots. Click on the image to view products with it on.

This was such a hit! My brother was really excited to get it. The only thing he said was it was short -but he's 6'3" so it's hard for him to find ties that are long enough for him.
