Kahena, by her real name Dihya or Damya, is a Berber warrior queen of the Ares who fought the Umayyads during the Islamic expansion in North Africa in the 7th century Fifteen years after the Prophet's death, the Arab armies approached North Africa. In order to confront the invader, the Kahena will organize the Berber resistance, realize the difficult unity of the Maghreb and inflict on the Arab riders some heartbreaking defeats. She possessed a prophetic gift and was revered by her people. She was one of the first feminists and warrior queens in history. The Westerners compared her to Joan of Arc, and Ibn Khaldoun gave her supernatural powers.
