The design on this product is a design that cause a visual illusion. The design is of black background and white lines that cross it. Notice that the intersections are all white (as you can see if you focous on them). Yet, while giving a general non-focous look on the design it seems some have black dots in them. The truth is that the shape, position, color, and 3D contrast converge to produce the illusion of black dots at the intersections.
