You don't see cobblers as often as you used to. People just don't wear shoes any more. They wear rubber clogs, weird looking boots, sneakers, things that look like feet. Not many wear shoes like they once did. There are advantages to real shoes, you can wear them forever with proper care, and that's where the Cobbler comes in. They fix your shoes, and you can still find them, but they are rather hidden, something akin to fairies and nymphs. Due to the nature of this craft, the tools haven't changed much.
