Spitfire On The Runway Button
World War Two Supermarine Spitfire fighter plane on the runway at Biggin Hill. This particular example converted to a two seat trainer after the war, when it was sold to the Spanish Air Force. Later it was brought back to the UK in crates and delivered to the Strathallan Aircraft Museum who sold it to it's restorer Nick Grace. It remains in flying condition.
