Spring Landscape By Thomas Doughty - Poster
Spring Landscape ca. 1853–56 is a painting by Thomas Doughty. This painting is part of a series typifying the seasons and was presumably painted in the last years of the artist’s life. It is one of his most ambitious pictures and the last one of importance. It is a wide-angled panoramic view and Doughty has made an effort to give variety to the broad expanse of countryside.
The farm, with people and animals in the sunlit middle distance, and the group of trees, shadowed below and brightly lit at the top, reveal a true gift for affectionate rendering of carefully observed minor detail. Although this artwork is digitally restored, the cracks and the fine lines are left intact on this painting to honor the time this painting emerged from.

Poster Paper (Semi-Gloss)
Creator Review
I love this calendar! The colors are rich and beautiful and the weight of the paper is perfect. It's not too thin. I hung it with a bit of double-sided tape and it lays flat to the wall. It looks great in my kitchen. It's perfect. The printing is bright and the colors are perfect.

I was given a small budget to decorate a free clinic. I ordered many of the posters from Zazzle because I could select various sizes that fit frames we could re-purpose. The quality of the printing is fine and there's a wide selection of subjects and styles to choose from. The paper quality on most of the items I ordered was decent. For some reason, though, the Ibis poster on "Perfect Poster (Glossy Finish)" is on very flimsy paper. It'll look fine when framed, but I would upgrade the paper choice if I did this over again. The image quality, colors, and printing quality were fine -exactly what I expected.
