There were 44 recorded wildfires in the Steens area in a matter of a few hours during a severe thunderstorm.... and we were there on that mile-high mountain experiencing the best of Mother Nature, nearly one verticle mile from the east side of the Alvord desert. The design is gorgeous and I love the ability to customize the colors of the mug. I chose the two-tone mug with maroon to complement the design of the flowers and love how it turned out. I only wish I had made the handle colored too (the "combo" mug). Perfect gift for any occasion! The colors of the mug were gorgeous and the print was a decent quality. There was a little speck of gold that didn't print in big block letter of the name but I don't mind. I bought the item on sale (<$10) and for the price I paid I thought the quality was reasonable.
