Hi there, I am Susan Mingay Koehrn and Boagie was a little bichon who had a rough start in life. Very sick when he found us, he overcame many serious obstacles and went on to speak out for animals everywhere; advocating for Rescue, the end to Puppy Mills and Animal Cruelty. Boagie was larger than life, with a unique happy go lucky personality, capturing the heart of everyone he met. It was only natural that he would inspire such a big undertaking as his own Emporium! Boagie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in December of 2021, but his legacy lives on. Boagie's Backyard™ promotes Animal Welfare through humor, entertainment, education, product sales, and fund raising. Here at Boagie's Backyard Emporium, it's not ALL about the animals. We celebrate the entire pet loving community. We honor those who believe in fostering the ideals of love, laughter, life lessons and respect for others.
