My name is Calvin La Combe and I am an Artist/Photographe that Draws CUSTOM Portaits of People, Pets, and Homes in PENCIL/charcoal/PASTEL/watercolor/MIXED. Like a solid spring board my strong foundation in illustration, graphics and relative skills, knowledge, and experiences gives me the consistent source of momentum to excel to new heights. With continued learning, practicing, and executing I am motivated to master any present and new skills needed to benefit your company’s goals. I can create outstanding illustrations and graphics. Free hand and Photoshop drawing/painting is what I do best. Illustrating free hand and with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator I completed to tight deadlines, a number of interactive pet care DVDs for Tzascuk Enterprises (Multi-Media Publisher) and images for IMAGINEERING INC. (Scientific/Technical Industry Publisher), Inc., which involved intense scientific and technical subject matter. On the other end of the spectrum, I was a Graphic Designer / Photo Editor/ Illustrator collaborating with Art Directors, Illustrators, Fine-Artists, and Designers to produce aesthetically pleasing books, and promotional material for Rubicon Publishing Inc. Where I also edited and enhanced hundreds of professional photographs. I studied all aspects and environments involving illustration, design, page-layout, and writing while enrolled in the three-year Illustration Program at the renowned Sheridan College School of Applied Arts and Animation. The program allowed me to master many skills and abilities to adapt to any creative environment from executing highly technical tasks (ie. architecture, automotive, new-media, etc.) to other environments where brainstorming, directing, editing, and successfully presenting of conceptual works (ie. advertising, editorial spots, marketing promos, book covers, etc.) is essential to an outstanding product and service. I have experience working in intensely technical environments for example I was the Scientific Illustrator for Tzascuk Interprises Ltd. ( Multi-Media Production Company). I have been a working freelance illustrator part-time for six years while at the same time performing interior design services to pay for my student loans.
