Lawrence Whittemore's Painted Photography

Lawrence Whittemore is a graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in New Media. He currently works at Sutherland Weston Marketing Communications specializing in Video Production & Web Design. Lawrence is responsible for filming and editing the University of Maine’s bi-weekly sport show, The Black Bear Insider. In his free time, Lawrence enjoys experimenting with photography, particularly High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography. HDR images enable photographers to record a greater range of total detail than a given camera could capture in a single photo. Lawrence combines a series of bracketed exposures into a single image which encompasses the total details of the entire series. Lawrence takes pleasure in using creating unique photos.
