The owl in flight is perfectly reproduced on the marble trivet. It is very well made, with a cork backing, and quite substantial. It's to be a gift, and Iknow the friend who gets it will be extremely pleased.

I chose a bowling one with the word "strikeologist" in the middle along with the name of the recipient and the fact that he is a professional with the bowlers association. A Wow gift he is sure to like for his birthday!

For the office or home, these marble coasters are "high class," durable and exquisite to look at! My choice reflected a patriotic theme and honored a military person who had died in a previous war. It read "in memory of" and the name if the individual. It truly is a forever keepsake.
