I am glad to have an outlet to express and display what I create. Growing up in Montgomery, AL, in an era of "female restraint" it's so wonderful to feel a release. I've always created something in my head....didn't everyone have an imaginary friend? I had an entire gang of tomboy friends. I wrote my first (very short) book before first grade and I couldn't wait to go to school. I was the last sibling at home. Poetry, lyrics, art and music. I loved and dabbled in it all. And honestly I have never perfected any of it to my satisfaction, but that's what's so exciting about it. Creativity is always dangling that carrot! The past 27 years have been spent as one half of a singer-songwriter duo, New Rain. Before that, In my early 30's, I jumped at the opportunity to live and work in Spain and was there for 5 enchanting years. Where part of my experience there was being a DJ on a local international radio station. Travel just totally expanded my entire outlook on life and living with other cultures is something everyone on the planet should experience at some point in their life. Travel is something I will do until I physically can not! I have an amazing daughter, Shannon, who lives in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. She inspires me and always amazes me at her endless abilities. Now, I am living in the Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg, TN, where creativity abounds and nature surrounds and influences the very air we breath. I hope you enjoy what I leave here on my page....or store....to me, it's an outlet to share what I see in my head. Our minds can get crowded at times so this is a good place to sort some of it! Take your time, and use your imagination to create something for yourself. I hope it makes you smile. And....keep discovering yourself
