Lamp-in-a-Box

Product arrived in time frame stated when ordered, and it required minimal but easy easily assembly. My daughter, whom I order it for, loved it and couldn't wait to put it on her dresser. It looks really cute on and off but is not sturdy. It wobbles a lot when we pull the chain to turn it on and off, so I am a little concerned about the quality. Hoping it will last awhile, especially for the price we paid!

The lamp is adorable.....in fact being able to chose your own graphics and border color really personalizes it. It was a little smaller than the picture on the website but it's perfect on a nightstand in a boys room - love it!

This is a very nice lamp for hanging. It fits well with my African them in my living room. My only concern was that the material on the lamp was a plastic rather than a cloth fabric. A cloth fabric would make it feel a little more authentic.

I am over the hills in love with my purchase! I was so excited to receive my 'Lamp-in-the-box'! I ordered a table lamp for my daughters' nursery for my grandson-4-months old! My customized lamp came with my grandson's initials on a Rice paper shade with red trim (to match the curtains in the nursery) I was so happy with the sturdy/durable silver base which has a heaviness to it, so they will not have to worry about the lamp tipping over. I ordered two and they both look so great in the nursery. As a matter of fact. my son-in-law said to me lastnight that "he really loves the lamps" I was so happy to say thank you, and that I was glad that they both love them. These lamps will grow-up with my grandson! I also found putting the lamp together was a breeze. At first it took about 5-minutes for me to figure out how to get the lamp out of the box, had I read the two line sentence with pictures, I would have been able to do it in a snap. It made opening up the second lamp a breeze!

The customized initials look great in black lettering.

This lamp is just the touch my room needed. I love the touch of red and it matches my room perfect. It's made of good quality and materials.

Bought this lamp for my son's room. Hard to find tennis themed items. Completed the look. He loved it!

Perfect contrast of colors.

This lamp turned out exactly as I expected. I wanted a simple lamp that goes with my living room furnishings, and I didn't like what I was seeing in the box stores. It has a clean look with the simple base. I blended the neutrals -- brown tones (shade), grey (base), and black (trim) -- to work with the colors in the room; the lamp shade design fits with the decor. I was very happy to choose my own lamp shade design. I knew from reviews to be very careful about how well the seam matches. Fortunately, Zazzle allows us to view every angle of the shade designs. I selected the linen shade because I wasn't sure how the other two options would turn out. I'm pleased with my choice.

Overall, the product was great! It was exactly what I wanted, and I am happy with the quality and the speed of delivery. I wish I had ordered the 'film polyester' shade though. A lot of people said the colors were really bright, but I didn't find any reviews for the linen shade. I thought it would be more durable, so I sprung for the extra $10 to get it. It does seem like it will hold up better than an all-plastic shade will. But the colors are definitely not bright. The matte finish and the texture of the fabric make it so that the design will always be a little less detailed and bright than you might like. So depending on the design and the look you want, consider the material. If I ordered again, I would go for the 'film polyester' or 'rice paper' shades for a clearer, brighter picture.
