Fable Studio and Gallery

I come from a family with some very talented artists, but work a 9 to 5 job. I have been painting for fun for a few years and started making products like cards and t-shirts as gifts for friends. As I have continued to paint and work on other projects, I wanted to find other ways to share my art other than selling the original paintings. I love doing home decorating so this is a way for me to have fun and share some of my designs that I hope will let other folks have some very different kinds of items to decorate their homes too. I am starting with pillows, but also hope to develop designs for shower curtains. I've lived in Hyattsville, MD since 2008 and do a lot of gardening. Many of my paintings come from photos I've taken in my yard. Other paintings are just from trips I have taken. Since my mom's side of the family is from the Pacific Northwest and I spent wonderful summers there growing up, I am particular fond of the woods and mountains. I love to hike and ski, but spend much of the time taking pictures! The three flower paintings are the first series I have done and I will be posting more items from prior paintings and new paintings as I finish them. I have done a few stained glass pieces and hope to do more some day too.
