Modern Nostalgia

I don't know about you, but I just love making or crafting things out of vintage items. I still have boxes and boxes of "vintage" that belonged to my great-grandmother and great-grandfather and I am sure that as much as I love the stuff, my grandkids will probably be able to say that they still have items from their great-great-great grandparents. (I think that's the right amount of greats). I've done scrapbooking for quite a long time now, 20 plus years! I also have education in graphic design--so when the world of selling digital items opened up, it was perfect! I now get the opportunity to share some of my great-grandparents' stuff yet I do not have to give it up! That is when I launched MeNanNMyCraftyKids designs on Etsy. I recently found Zazzle actually by accident and noticed that there's not a large "junk journal" niche yet. I thought, why not see how it goes? So I opened Modern_Nostalgia here on Zazzle so I can share my MeNanNMyCraftyKids designs created to help customers put together great Junk Journals, Scrapbooks, and any other shabby chic or vintage creation! So now whenever I get the chance, I am either sifting through the boxes of vintage items and getting that nostalgic feeling or I am sitting in front of my laptop taking those vintage items and adding my own modern twist to them--so I can then pass on a little bit of MODERN NOSTALGIA to YOU!
