Our dogs got together later in life. The Viszla, Thor, was a rescue of sorts -- he was raised by a reputable breeder in Texas and used for hunting expeditions. He developed a gun shy issue and they could no longer use him. A friend said he'd take him. Well, Thor needed a pack and his anxious misbehavior was causing trouble in his new home. He was offered to us, and because we had been thinking of getting our lab mix a buddy, we took him. Winsor and Thor are inseparable and really, really, (I mean REALLY) love each other! They make us laugh every single day, and what's not to love about a dog who begins his day with a waggy tail and an appreciative look? Our friend, Brian, was visiting soon after we acquired Thor. Winsor and Thor were wrestling around and generally being dogs, when they stopped, licked each others face, and Thor put his paw on Winsors head. Brian blurted out, "You HAVE to have someone take pictures and make a calendar of them! ...or at LEAST a mug!" Thus, two years later, pictures were taken and here we are!
