My Self-Care Is All About the W.A.T.E.R., started in 2017, while I was working and conducting research on teacher burnout and self-care. I presented my Self-Care Is All About the W.A.T.E.R. professional development at multiple schools. Each presentation left educators with an eye-opening Ah-ha. Their responses confirmed that the self-care conversation needed to be discussed in schools. Open dialogue and collaboration allowed educators moments of self-reflection, and to exhale unwanted-stress, and inhale self-agency. My Self-Care Is All About the W.A.T.E.R. store products remind educators about the importance of maintaining self-care daily. The W.A.T.E.R. Framework, works to prevent burnout when it is sustained and taught in schools.
