Welcome to my thinkPhD Zazzle store! My goal is to encourage everyone to take John Dewey’s words to heart: “Education, therefore, is a process of living and not a preparation for future living.” I am a student, a wife, a mother of three, a manager, a teacher, and a literacy volunteer in my community. Husband and I live in rural Virginia far from the lights of the city. We have two dogs, two cats, and lots of varmits (possums, coons, deer, bear, etc.) for company. I love the peace and solitude and the quiet of country living. I blog about my journey to earning a PhD and write freelance articles just for fun. Join me in support of adult literacy projects: a portion of the proceeds from the sale of my Say It Line will go toward book scholarships in my community.
