Hello, I am Diane of Diane Johnnie Designs. The "Johnnie" in my birth name comes from my dad whose birth name was Johnnie and not John, so unique. As a little girl, I absolutely did not like having a boy's name for my middle name. Now that I am older I realize what an honor it was to be named after my daddy. In all of my creative adventures, whenever I think of a creative name to brand my work I often find out the name is already taken. So a few years ago, I began to realize, wait a minute I am unique (as each of us are). Why not use my birth name of Diane Johnnie? As we age, we realize what is most important to us and what really matters in life; your family, your heritage, your home, the beauty of the world around you.
