Abstraction started as a fashion accessories collection from Oneida, NY based designer David G Duke and David G Fashions that creates prints through photo manipulation. Each season I will be bringing you 13 new abstractions, from my old photos, most of which are ones that I overexposed, underexposed, or just wasn’t happy with as a photograph. The abstract prints are then tiled over the surface of ties, (think of the tiles on a floor or kitchen wall) to create a unique fashion collection. The ties in this collection are for the man that wants to stand out from the crowd, wearing these ties will grab people’s attention, and not let it go.

I could not find what I wanted for my groomsmen. All the ties I could find were either the right color wrong pattern or vice versa. I created this tie using clip art of water color flowers that I pulled offline. It was a pain to place each image just right on the tie and make sure when it actually came out the flower had actually covered the whole visible part of the tie. That being said, I am IN LOVE with the finished product and how clear it came out. It also matched my wedding colors perfectly. Everything was crystal clear. The colors were tough to align because it’s via a computer screen but they ended up being perfect!
