About This Design

The Kotel - Western Wall

The Kotel - Western Wall

A digital rendering of the Kotel, the Western Wall (Hebrew: HaKotel HaMa'aravi) in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). Customizable reading "Jerusalem" also appears on the cover. For more than 2000 years Jews, have come to the Kotel to lament the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans in 70 CE and pray for its reconstruction. The Kotel, a small segment of a far longer ancient retaining wall, was originally erected as part of the expansion of the Second Temple by Herod the Great. Visitors commonly place slips of paper containing written prayers to God into the cracks of the Kotel. This practice dates back as far as the early 18th century. Over a million notes are placed each year by both tourists and high-profile dignitaries visiting Israel from abroad. The notes are collected twice a year and buried in the Jewish cemetery on the nearby Mount of Olives.

My customers like it as well! The color is stunning! The closeup is very nicely detailed and just perfectly awesome! Could not ask for better printing!

Unusual color scheme is clearly visible on the art. Not many artist try to emphasize that as an artist they can see things different so long they look beautiful. This is an UNIQUE image. I bought a bunch of 34 different cards as like to give a different card to each of my friend which makes it very personal. When friends talk with each other, they appreciate the gesture all the more. Also I took advantage of volume pricing. Thanks to Zazzle for allowing to order even one card. I recommend people to buy from Zazzle. Pure Joy. Excellent printing and color tones.
