This painting-style expressionism artwork called, "The Raven, Nevermore," was created by Kei. This artwork was inspired by the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe. Poe has always been a personal favorite poet of mine since learning and studying his work in grade school. This is my way of expressing that night the raven visits the protagonist on that faithful night.
Expressionism refers to art in which the image of reality is distorted in order to make it expressive of the artist's inner feelings or ideas.

The photo is one the hostess took. I ordered another one for myself. Can see many opportunities in the year ahead for more customized photos. I gave it 4 stars only because there was a shadow of words printed underneath the actual words on the plaque that was kinda noticeable but otherwise really good work!! The printing on this wasn't as good as I'd hoped but it wasn't unusable so no big deal! Maybe it was just this time and I'm sure if I had let zazzle know about it, they would have done another one but I needed it right away. I will definitely order it again! Everything else was great! Thank you.
