Your guests' presence and presents deserve a small note of appreciation at the very least. You've paid attention to every detail of your wedding so far, ensuring all the flowers, dresses, table covers, wedding invitations and even the wedding stickers matched. • Preparation: Thank you card prep starts way before you open a wedding gift. Make a copy of the guest list and their addresses. It'll be useful later on, when it's time to send your wedding thank you cards.
• Recipients: Everyone who attended your wedding, gave a gift and helped out deserves a thank you. This includes family, friends, the wedding party and wedding vendors. Don't forget to thank the officiant, too!
• What to Write: Make sure you write personalized thank you cards based on the recipient. • When to Send: The general rule of thumb is to send your thank you cards no more than three months after your wedding. We suggest doing it as soon as you can, and using some of that post-wedding happiness to craft some heartfelt messages. Short, swift and sweet is the way to go.
