About the Zodiac Moon by Alphonse Mucha
The Zodiac Crescent Moon is a small piece of the image Zodiac, which was originally published as a calendar for Champenois in 1896, after which it became the design for the La Plume Magazine. Zodiac is considered one of the best Art Nouveau pieces ever made. The artist, Aphonse Mucha, had a distinctive style, and produced many Art Nouveau posters and graphics in his day. He was a Czech painter and decorative artist, and was well known for his unusual style that graced the pages of magazines and was placed on postcards and other designs.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
