The illustrations that are available in this store all come from a single source, Richard Harding Davis's 1894 book Our English Cousins. Artist's signatures can be seen on a number of the illustrations.
Richard Harding Davis was an American who wrote this book as a sort of introduction to the life and contemporary culture in London. There are five chapters: Three English Race Meetings, A General Election In England, Undergraduate Life At Oxford, London In The Season, and The West and East Ends of London.
