At the ripe old age of 12, I decided I wanted to be a Tattoo Artist like my grandfather. So I got my hands on a bottle of India Ink, swiped a needle from my mothers sewing basket and proceeded to ink the word MOM on my shoulder. As you can imagine, that didn't go over too well. I believe I'm still supposed to be grounded for that little stunt.
However, several years later in 1974, when I got a Medical Discharge from the Marine Corps, I decided to apprentice and become a Professional Tattoo Artist. The rest, as they say, is history. For well over 30 years I was a professional tattoo artist. During that time I have done probably 100,000 tattoos on people from every walk of life. Few years ago, courtesy of a drunk driver, I had to have a 3 disc spinal fusion, which caused me to lose some of the function of my tattoo hand. So now, I am taking some of my art from over the years and putting it to print. Hope you enjoy it. If you are looking for anything special, feel free to drop me a line. Tattoo Gypsy |
