Raised in the suburbs of Oahu, Aaron grew up under the influence of his older brother, reading super hero comics and listening to 80's rock/metal.

At 17, he left Hawaii to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design, acquiring a BFA in Sequential Art. From there Aaron bounced around from job to job, one of which was coloring comics for DC Comics.

He describes his art as a representation of the surrealism of human relationships and interactions; a magnification of the awkward moments of human civilizations.

Aaron now lives with his cat in his studio apartment located in the Tenderloin of San Francisco, painting, illustrating, photographing, and self publishing comics.
