Welcome to the enchanting Collage Montage shop of vintage fairy tale illustration prints from the "Golden Age of Illustration". Many of these illustrations are from my favorite stories as a child. I'm sure they are in your memories too!

By the late nineteenth century these European and American illustrators began to capture people's imagination with striking fantasy worlds borrowing from the ornate creations of the rich decorative elements of Asia and Near East and the fairy worlds of the Victorians as beautiful book illustrations. The original art and books continue to be collected and enjoyed today.
