ColorOfChange.org was formed after Hurricane Katrina to use the Internet to organize and amplify the political voice of Black Americans and our allies and to keep politicians accountable to the needs and interests of Black people. We have over 600,000 members who have participated in a variety of actions-- from ensuring voting rights and housing for Katrina survivors, to protecting voting rights
and stopping voter disenfranchisement at a national level, to demanding an end to the genocide in Darfur, working to end inequalities in the criminal justice system, and addressing issues of racism and race-baiting in the media.
Every citizen should be outraged over the irresponsible and dangerous agenda being promoted at Fox. The Corporations have learned well how to get people to vote against their own interests, throw in equal amounts of hate, fear and greed then put it on tv. Fear is great motivator and has turned brother against brother throuout history. Greed has corrupted our entire political process. Just like the Montgomery bus boycott, it's time to use our economic power to effect change.
